The event, hosted by EMBL-ABR at the University of Melbourne, will run from February 3 – 9. It is a rare opportunity for the data-intensive life science research community to gather, as well as the first large, multi-day Galaxy event to be offered outside of Europe and North America.
THE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS IS AS FOLLOWS:
- Friday, Feb 3: Researcher Training Day
- Saturday, Feb 4: Conference Day 1: BIO Day for Galaxy users (biologists and bioinformaticians)
- Sunday, Feb 5: Conference Day 2: INFO Day focussing on technical aspects of Galaxy (for bioinformaticians, tool and software developers)
- Monday, Feb 6 to Thursday, Feb 9: Galaxy Administrator Training (for those installing and maintaining Galaxy servers)
Poster submissions remain open and registrations close January 27, with limited places remaining. Follow the conversation on Twitter via @GalaxyAustralia and #GAMe_2017.
