The 4th Prato Conference on Pore-Forming Proteins will be Monday, 24 September to Thursday, 27 September 2018 at the Monash University Prato Centre in Italy.
Come to Prato and explore the wonderful world of pore-forming toxins: Pore-forming proteins (PFPs) are molecules that self-assemble from a soluble form into oligomeric membrane spanning pores. These molecules play diverse roles in processes such as immunity, bacterial pathogenicity, venom toxicity and developmental biology. From a translational perspective, PFPs are also emerging as key molecules of utility in medical research, protection of agricultural crops from pests, DNA sequencing, and as tumour therapeutics.
EMBL Australia proudly sponsors the event. For more information, see the conference website.
