Immunology and stem cells
Jean Tan graduated from a B.BMedSci from LaTrobe University in 2009. In 2010, she did a Masters preliminary degree at Monash University focusing on human amnion epithelial cells (hAECs) in modulating macrophage phenotype and behaviour.
She obtained her doctorate in July 2016 under the supervision of Dr. Rebecca Lim and Prof. Euan Wallace.
Her research interestĀ involves investigating the effects of hAECs on immunological responses in the repair of bleomycin-induced interstitial lung inflammation and fibrosis.
She joined the Martino lab in September 2017.
