• When do registrations open? 
    Registrations open from 9:30 am on Wednesday 26 April.
  • What is the dress code for the event?
    The dress code is smart casual.
  • Will the sessions be recorded?
    No, the sessions will not be recorded for public use or sharing.
  • Can I take photos or videos?
    We encourage you to share photos and videos of your experience, however, there may be some data and information which you cannot share. Please be sensitive to this.
    The EMBL Australia team will be taking videos and photos which will be shared on social media and other marketing materials. If you do not wish to have your photo taken, please speak with an EMBL Australia team member upon registration.
  • Is there Wi-Fi?
    Yes. The Monash Guest Wi-Fi network is available. You will need to register by entering a username, name, email and phone number.  You will need to reconnect after 24hrs.
  • I am a speaker,  what should I do?
    Please be prepared with your presentation on a USB. A member from the EMBL Australia team will help you set up prior to your presentation.
  • I was awarded a travel grant, what should I do?
    You will be contacted by someone from the EMBL Australia team. Please hold onto any receipts used for travel/accommodation should they be needed.
  • Who should I contact if I need assistance?
    The EMBL Australia team will make themselves known during the workshop. Please go directly to them if you need support during the workshop.
